From the Stümpflingbahn mountain station, cross the mountain cart launch site and turn left onto the hiking trail above the forest road.
Small boxes with "flowers" are hidden along the path. Here you have to: Keep your eyes open!
After a straighter section followed by a zigzag bend, the path leads past the Roßkopf Almen to the Roßkopf summit (1,580 m). From the Roßkopf summit cross, the view opens up into the Tegernsee valley.
The view from the summit encompasses the surrounding mountains such as Wallberg, Risserkogel, Blauberge, Halserspitz, Guffert and the Bavarian and Austrian Schinder.
