Opening hours
The lifts and cable cars operated by Alpenbahnen Spitzingsee are usually open every day.
Please note, however, that there may be last-minute changes, particularly during the transitional periods in May and October. The operating hours listed below are for general information only. You can check the up-to-date status of the cable cars here: Lift status.
The start of the winter season depends on weather and snow conditions; you can also find up-to-date information on opening times at Lift status.

Access to the ski resort is generally possible via the following valley stations:
Stümpflingbahn, Lyraweg 6, 83727 Spitzingsee
Kurvenlift, Stümpflingweg 13, 83727 Schliersee/Spitzingsee
Sutten Chairlift, Sutten 33, 83700 Rottach-Egern
The mountain cart track and the Taubensteinbahn are not in operation during winter.
General
We are happy to arrange private trips (for groups) outside regular operating hours (excluding maintenance periods) on request.
Night-time trips are not possible on the Taubensteinbahn or the Suttenbahn.
The Sutten chairlift operates in winter only.
