The Spitzingsee-Tegernsee skiing and hiking area is just an hour's drive from Munich.
In winter, 25 kilometers of runs extend an enticing invitation to skiers and snowboarder to come and have some fun. The cable cars and chairlifts on the Stümpfling and Taubenstein mountains take visitors quickly and safely up the mountainside to the well-groomed slopes. Introduced in 2007/2008, state-of-the art snow-making equipment ensures a bountiful supply of snow on the main Suümpfling and Sutten runs from the end of November until early April.
In summer, the Spitzingsee-Tegernsee region invites you to come and enjoy a hike or a climb, or merely relax and unwind. The Taubenstein cable car and the Stümpfling chairlift take visitors up the mountains from Spitzingsee, while the Sutten chairlift provides access to the mountainside from the Tegernsee Valley.
