The Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area is situated in the immediate vicinity of Spitzingsee lake. As the name indicates, the popular winter sports paradise on Stümpfling and Roßkopf mountains link the two picturesque valleys with each other. The Kurven lift and the Stümpfling und Sutten chairlifts transports you to the heart of winter sports fun quickly and comfortably.
The terrain on Stümpfling Mountain is ideal for beginners, intermediate skiers and families. More advanced skiers can take the new double chairlift up Roßkopf mountain to the short but challenging Roßkopf run or the longer black Grünsee run. The wide well-groomed slopes at the Osthang and Nordhang lifts offers skiing pleasure to one and all. This is also where Snowpark, ranked one of the top three snow parks in Germany, can be found.
The slopes are closed to all every day between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m for grooming.
